Description: CUTS is a collaboration between the Juvenile Probation Dept and School Districts throughout Maricopa County. The program provides a protocol for schools to follow to intervene at the onset of truant behavior and a diversion program run by JPOS. 

How Program is Funded: Through the County Diversion Budget. 
Evidence of Effectiveness: Preliminary results available (includes draft papers, powerpoint presentations, etc.)  

How do you know your program is effective: Schools that implement the CUTS program show a decrease in truancy and an increase in graduation rates.
