Description: The Administrative Office of the Courts’ (AOC) Department of Juvenile Services has had the privilege by providing educational outreach to juveniles across the state through the law related education programs. Juvenile Services has also been directly involved, through the Court Designated Worker’s Program, with confronting the growing issue of truancy and how to best address this problem. It is the belief of the Juvenile Service General Manager and staff, that a Truancy Court Diversion Pilot Program (TCDPP) is a necessary tool in combating the impact of truancy on our youth across Kentucky.
