    2003-2004 Report

    Web-based Professional Development Project (WBPD):

Below is the release of the final report for the 2003-2004 research cycle of WBPD.  This report features the action research of 17 WBPD participants.  The report is sectioned utilizing NCSE’s framework for school engagement the Three Domains of educational practice (Access to Resources; Flexible Instruction, and Welcoming School Climate.)

The reports highlight the work of participants to increase understanding and improve practices to promote school success for homeless and highly mobile students.  Personal stories and accounts are shared and many offer guidelines on how to replicate their work.  Several chapters include survey instruments that were developed in conjunction with the action research.
